There were 280 chillies in the bowl!
4 of you guessed the correct answer! But there can only be one winner! We pulled Amy Clucas out of a hat as the winner! Congratulations you have won the meal for 4! Jack Alexandra Hrshi, Nicholas Nicholaou and Sharon Eastham-Leyland you have all won a meal for 2! And finally Louise Hunt and Shane Holmes you both win a £10 voucher as you were only one away! Congratulations to all of you! We will be in touch soon! So many of you were so close!

On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th October we celebrated our 15th Anniversary!
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with us, it was definately a night to remember.
Our theme for this year’s party was ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ and as you can see from the pictures everyone really dressed to impress!
The Cottage Restaurant has now been open for nearly 15 years and, as much as we love the historic elegance to the building, we like to keep things fresh and modern within the restaurant.
Over the past couple of weeks we have had some major renevations to our bar to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the interior.
We still have a few small changes to make before we can say it is fully complete but we wanted to share the progress with you all.
With the new bar we also want to freshen up our drinks menu so keep an eye out for that!
Comment below and tell us which cocktails you want to see on our new menu…
Welcome to our new look website. We hope you find the new website easier to use and more informative.
We thought our first blog should tell you little bit about how we go about preparing the wonderful dishes at the Cottage.
We serve traditional food that is not only delicious but also healthy. To achieve this our dishes are made with the best hand-picked ingredients to produce the freshest possible flavours. We don’t use any artificial colours in our food which keeps our dishes looking and tasting traditional.
We asked our chef what the the most important things to him when it comes to cooking dishes:
“I think a lot of people are under the impression that Indian food is quite heavy and unhealthy but you will actually find a lot of our dishes are made to be light and every dish is made with fresh ingredients. Using fresh ingredients provides so much more flavour to a dish and I think this is very important.“
We’d love to get some feedback from you about our new website, so please leave a comment telling us what you think or if you have any requests for future posts let us know.
